EMINENT SPEAKERS AT GTF 2026

Yuyang Li is a full professor and vice dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include combustion kinetic and dynamics, low-carbon combustion technology for gas turbines, novel combustion techniques and aviation hybrid power technology. He was approved for the NSFC Young Scholar Funding (Type A), elected as a Fellow of the Combustion Institute and has received several prestigious awards, including the 2nd Grade State Natural Science Award (2/4), the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the Wuzhonghua Outstanding Young Scholar Award from the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, and the Research Excellence Award from the Combustion Institute. He has led over 30 projects and published over 200 papers, with over 7000 SCI citations and an H-index of 48. Yuyang Li has served as the Colloquium Co-Coordinator of the 41st International Symposium on Combustion, the executive co-chair of the 2st Sino-Russian Workshop on Low-Carbon/Low-Emission Gas Turbine Application, the chair of Local Organization Committee of the 3rd Symposium on Ammonia Energy, a board member of the Combustion Section of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, and the Program Co-Chair of the 2021 and 2022 China National Symposia on Combustion. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of Progress in Reaction Kinetics and Mechanism.
