Beikuang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2011 and is affiliated with the Central Enterprise Mining and Metallurgy Technology Group Co., Ltd. It has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, a national technology innovation demonstration enterprise, and a national "specialized, refined, and new" small giant enterprise. It has multiple innovation platforms such as the "Beijing Enterprise Technology Center" and the "Beijing Key Laboratory of Special Coating Materials and Technology". It is a major supplier and technology innovation base for domestic aviation engine coating materials and high-purity refractory metal materials.

Beikuang New Materials is a national designated research and production base for special functional powder materials and coating technology. It has the full chain capability of special functional coating design, materials, processes, and performance evaluation. It has the only high-temperature and high-speed (1200 ℃, 450m/s) simulated working condition coating service performance testing and evaluation platform in China. It is at the forefront of sealing coatings, blade tip strengthening coatings, thermal barrier coatings, environmental barrier coatings, anti-oxidation coatings, wear-resistant and friction reducing coating materials and technologies, as well as new composite electrodeposition "non line of sight" process coatings. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, we have undertaken a total of 42 national and provincial-level or above projects in the field of special functional coating technology for aircraft engines and ship gas turbines. We have also been granted 158 national invention patents in the direction of coating technology for "two engines" and have two provincial-level scientific and technological innovation teams that are the only in China specializing in "coating materials and technology" and "sealing coating materials and technology".
