Taiyuan Aviation Instruments Co., Ltd. (Factory 221), established in 1951 as China's first aviation instrument factory with its core team originating from the "Two Airlines Uprising," has supported the construction of over 20 enterprises by dispatching 2,438 personnel. With a registered capital of 529.5 million yuan and covering an area of 180,000 square meters, it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AVIC Avionics (600372) under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), and a member of the Avionics Cockpit Systems Division.
The company specializes in the research and application of sensitive components, high-pressure pipeline technology, airborne atmospheric data sensing and measurement technology, cockpit display technology, sensor technology, and vapor-chamber technology. Leveraging platforms such as the National Enterprise Technology Center, National Technology Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, Shanxi Aviation Instrument Engineering Research Center, and the Shanxi Key Laboratory of Airborne Atmospheric Environment Detection, it continuously advances fundamental and applied engineering research in these fields.
