China Aviation Industry Corporation Wuyi (Factory 181) was founded in 1962 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Aviation Industry Corporation Airborne Systems Company. Headquartered in the core area of Wuhan Donghu New Technology Development Zone (China Optics Valley), adjacent to Donghu, with a total area of 200000 square meters, the Wuhan Optics Valley Future City Park was newly built in 2021, covering an area of 33 acres. As a core member of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, the company focuses on the research and production of aircraft anti icing system products, atmospheric data sensors (systems), ejection seat program controllers, airborne parachute openers, sensor measurement instruments and other onboard equipment. The product is mainly used in high-end sensing and measurement fields for national defense and civilian use, such as aviation, aerospace, aviation, weapons, ships, etc. The product covers various defense aircraft models.

The company currently has over 1000 employees, including more than 400 outstanding R&D talents from different disciplinary backgrounds such as materials science, semiconductor physics, control theory, analog simulation, signal processing, and system analysis.
